Reception
Dar Rehla, guest house in Morocco is the outcome of the renovation of a traditional house or « dar » of the UNESCO medina of Tetouan nearby Tangier.
The building of a few centuries old, has been rehabilitated in respect of the arab-andalusian architecture that characterizes the original buildings of old moroccan cities and reusing the most decorative elements such as zelliges, grids and some woodwork present that were still present in the riad.
But unlike cities like Fez, Marrakech which are imperial cities, Tetouan is a city with a tumultuous warrior past and houses do not have the imposing size of the palaces and riads of these cities.
So it’s in a guesthouse with smaller dimensions that we offer an accommodation type Bed and Breakfast that combines usability and uniqueness.
Dar Rehla, home of travel and travellers, will be the right place for exploring the culture, history and landscapes of this region still quite unknown by tourists in the North of Morocco.
